Accrington Stanley release five players, but offer 10 more of their squad new deals.

League Two outfit Accrington Stanley have released five of their squad, but have offered new deals to 10 other players.

The Lancashire club have let go of goalkeeper Tony Warner, Michael Liddle, James Jenkins, Danny Whitehead and George Bowerman.

Stanley have offered new contracts to captain Luke Joyce, Nicky Hunt, Gerardo Bruna and Rob Atkinson, all of whom are free to speak to other clubs.

However, manager John Coleman has also offered fresh deals to Adam Buxton, Shay McCartan, Kal Naismith, Marcus Carver, Piero Mingoia and Liam Goulding. Those six players have a month to respond to those offers under Football League rules, as they are all under the age of 24.

Accrington finished 17th in League Two this season.
