Accrington Stanley land Fleetwood Town stopper Scott Davies on loan

Accrington Stanley manage to land Fleetwood Town stopper Scott Davies on loan until the end of the season following a deal on deadline day.

Accrington Stanley have brought in Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Scott Davies on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old stopper has so far spent this season out on loan at Morecambe, but will now complete the rest of the League Two campaign at the Crown Ground.

"Scott is an excellent keeper with League Two experience. We are delighted to have him until the end of the season," Stanley boss John Coleman said of the deal, according to Sky Sports News.

Stanley occupy 16th spot in the League Two standings with 33 points from 27 games.
