Scottish League Two roundup: Albion Rovers comeback secures promotion

Scottish L2 roundup: Albion Rovers champions
Sports Mole rounds of Saturday's Scottish League one action as Albion Rovers come back from two goals down to beat Clyde and secure promotion.

Albion Rovers recovered from two goals down to win 3-2 at Clyde and secure promotion to Scottish League One.

Brian McQueen and David Marsh gave Clyde the lead before Chris Cadden, John Gemmell and Gary Fisher turned the game on its head for Albion Rovers.

Sean Burns's late equaliser for Queen's Park was not enough to halt Albion's promotion as they drew 1-1 with Arbroath, who took the lead through Simon Murray.

Andrew Russell opened the scoring for Berwick in a comfortable 4-0 victory over East Stirlingshire.

Kyle Wilkie, Blair Henderson and Lee Currie all grabbed goals after the break in a win which moves Berwick into seventh, while Connor Greene was sent off late on for East Stirling.

Graham Webster scored the winner for Montrose as they defeated Elgin City 2-1. Jordan Allan opened the scoring for bottom-club Montrose, before Darryl McHardy grabbed the leveller for Elgin, who are chasing the playoff spots.

Elsewhere, Martin McNiff's injury-time winner gave Annan Athletic a 2-1 win over East Fife, after Ryan McStay saw his goal cancelled out by Nathan Austin.

Results in full: Annan Athletic 2-1 East Fife, Arbroath 1-1 Queen's Park, Clyde 2-3 Albion Rovers, East Stirlingshire 0-4 Berwick, Montrose 2-1 Elgin City
