Scottish League One roundup: Wins for Dunfermline Athletic, Brechin City

Dunfermline Athletic cut Rangers' lead to 10 points at the top of Scottish League One with a 3-0 win at Arbroath.

Dunfermline Athletic consolidated their position in second place in Scottish League One with a 3-0 win at Arbroath this afternoon.

Andy Geggan, Ryan Thomson and Josh Falkingham were on target as the Pars moved within 10 points of leaders Rangers, who have two matches in hand.

Ayr United cemented their position in the top four with a 1-0 win over Forfar Athletic, Kevin Kyle scoring the only goal of the game in the second period.

Brechin City enjoyed a 3-1 victory away to East Fife, while Stenhousemuir and Airdrieonians drew 1-1.

Rangers are not in action again until Boxing Day when they take on Stranraer at Ibrox Stadium.
