Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League fixture with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Arsenal begin their third successive Europa League campaign with a testing trip to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Gunners travel to the home of last season's semi-finalists on the back of three matches without a win in the Premier League, the latest of which saw them let slip a two-goal lead at Watford.

Manager Unai Emery also has a number of fitness concerns for this game, at a time when the North Londoners face three fixtures in the space of six days.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for the Gunners ahead of meeting the Bundesliga outfit.

Alexandre Lacazette

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: October

After attempting to manage an ankle problem throughout the early weeks of the campaign, Lacazette has been ruled out until at least the start of October by Emery, who has stated that the Frenchman needs to rest the injury.

Hector Bellerin

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Having been sidelined since January with a serious knee injury, Bellerin is closing in on a return to action. However, the Spaniard will need to come through at least one second-string fixture before being considered for the first team.

Rob Holding

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: September 19 (vs. Frankfurt)

Holding is another long-term absentee, but he has now returned to training and has played for Arsenal's Under-23 side. The Englishman may feature among the travelling party to Germany, although he will not start Thursday's game.

Konstantinos Mavropanos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Mavropanos is currently recovering from a groin injury. However, while he appears to be making progress in his rehabilitation, it would be a surprise if he is back in contention before the end of the month.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: September 24 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

Tierney is yet to make his debut since signing from Celtic after undergoing a hernia operation earlier in the summer. However, having made a return to training, the full-back may be ready to face Forest in the EFL Cup later this month.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players who are suspended for the game on Thursday night.
