Ken Sema has pulled out of the Sweden squad for the upcoming World Cup 2022 qualifying games because of an injury concern.
The Watford midfielder has not been a regular within the squad for the Hornets this season, but he did make an appearance as a substitute against Southampton at the weekend.
It appears that Sema has now picked up an injury, as he has pulled out of the upcoming Sweden squad for the November international break, with Janne Andersson confirming the news.
He told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: "It is sad that Ken needs to cancel, I hope of course that he is back as soon as possible. We have followed Kerim who did well in Mechelen.
"He has been with us earlier on the January tour so we know what qualities he has. It will be fun to work with him again."
This means he will not be available to Claudio Ranieri on Sunday when his squad faces Arsenal, with the injury not being clear at the moment.
