Mikel Arteta: 'Arsenal must deal with injuries'

Mikel Arteta claims that Arsenal must deal with their mounting injury problems ahead of a busy month of fixtures.

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta has claimed that the team must deal with their mounting injury problems ahead of a busy month of fixtures.

Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Tomas Rosicky and currently sidelined for the Gunners, who drew 2-2 at Southampton in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Despite a growing list of absentees, Arteta believes that the side must remain focused in the coming weeks.

"That happens and we have to deal with it," the Spaniard is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"The schedule is really busy now and we have some really tough games coming up in the next two weeks so we have to deal with it and do our best."

Arsenal return to action on Saturday when they host Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
