Arsenal defender warns Chelsea: 'Don't write us off'

Hector Bellerin warns Chelsea that Arsenal will not give up hope of overhauling their seven-point deficit and pipping them to the Premier League title.

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has warned Chelsea that they cannot afford to take their foot off the pedal in the Premier League title race.

The Gunners thumped top-four rivals Liverpool 4-1 on Saturday for what was their 10th league win in 11 games as they briefly moved four points adrift of the Blues.

Jose Mourinho's side, who also have a game in hand, later restored their seven-point cushion by beating Stoke City 2-1.

However, Bellerin, who scored against the Reds, warns that Arsenal's momentum could see them overhaul the Blues in the final seven games.

"We just need to think about ourselves, to get as a many points as we can to put pressure on [Chelsea], then you never know," he told The Mirror.

"We need to just look at the moment right now, not look to the future. We need to put the best performances in as we can, to get as close as we can then see what happens.

"No more team has got more points than us in the second half of the season, so we are showing we can be up there. I don't know if it is possible, but we still have to play Chelsea and we have a few more games to play, so we will see if we can do it."

Arsenal face Chelsea at the Emirates on April 26.
