Nicklas Bendtner refuses to be drawn in by Harry Redknapp "rubbish"

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner labels Harry Redknapp's comments about his loan move to Sunderland as "rubbish".

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has responded to Harry Redknapp's comments about his loan move to Sunderland by calling the Tottenham Hotspur manager's words "rubbish".

In the build-up to Spurs' 0-0 draw at Stadium of Light, Redknapp had said suggested that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was right to let the Dane leave the Emirates at the start of the season because he was not good enough to merit a place in the Frenchman's team.

The 24-year-old, who has scored seven goals for the Black Cats this season, has refused to be drawn into a war of words with the Spurs boss.

Bendtner tweeted: "Saw there manager talking rubbish about me.

"I am not Even gonna commit [comment] on c*** liked that. Well done safc for the support today."

Sunderland face Everton at Goodison Park later today.
