Martin Keown: Chelsea are "almost out of sight so early in the season"

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown talks up Chelsea's chances of winning the Premier League.

Ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown believes that Chelsea will feel like they have one hand on the Premier League trophy if they can beat his former side this weekend.

Jose Mourinho's men welcome the Gunners to Stamford Bridge this Sunday, and the Blues boss will not take Arsene Wenger's side lightly.

"It's the big one, Chelsea have had fantastic start and are almost out of sight so early in the season," Keown told talkSPORT. "Costa is on fire, Fabregas is playing well, the players are all embracing the change under Mourinho, he seems to make everyone better.

"But Arsenal are putting a team together and the performances are improving, so you can't discount Arsenal and Mourinho will know that. I think if Chelsea win it they wiill start to feel they can win the league, and even go unbeaten.

"They've already been to Manchester City and done well in getting a draw, and all they need to do is start ticking off all the big contenders. Chelsea have a really special group this season and if they beat Arsenal I'm sure they will start to feel they can win the league."

Chelsea are currently three points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
