Olivier Giroud: 'I want to win the Premier League title'

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud reveals that he would like to win the Premier League title with the Blues after missing out on the prize with Arsenal.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has revealed that he would like to win the Premier League title with the Blues after missing out on the prize with Arsenal.

The French international has made three appearances for the reigning champions, having made made the switch across London for £18m on deadline day in January.

The 31-year-old, who said he has "unfinished business" with the top-flight crown, has vowed to win it before he retires.

"I don't know if we can really call [my Arsenal career] a regret but I have a little feeling of unfinished business because I would really have liked to have won the Premier League with Arsenal," Giroud told SFR Sport.

"You don't just wipe away five-and-a-half years like that. I have said it often enough - it was my ultimate goal. Having said that, it's not over, I'm still in the Premier League, now I'm at Chelsea.

"For this year, I think it's over for the title, but next year, we'll come to it with great ambitions. I still want to win it before I end my career."

Chelsea took the Premier League title with a record 30 wins in 38 games last term in Antonio Conte's first season in West London.
