Mesut Ozil hails "outstanding" Arsenal

Mesut Ozil claims that Arsenal played "outstanding" football during their 3-1 victory away to Hull City.

Mesut Ozil has claimed that Arsenal were "outstanding" during their 3-1 victory over Hull City on Monday night.

The Gunners scored all three of their goals in the first half at the KC Stadium as they moved level on points with second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table.

Ozil believes that he and his teammates gave Hull no chance due to a clinical attacking display that was led by Alexis Sanchez.

"We played outstanding football, especially in the first half," he told the club's official website. "We really deserved to be 3-0 up and as I mentioned, in the first half our performance was top class. Hull City didn't have a chance.

"We disrupted their play really early on and that forced their mistakes. Alexis made the game easier for us with his goals. We had more space as a result and they had to become more open. We know that one of our strengths is on the break because we have some really fast attacking players and I want to praise the team again for that."

Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on Monday when they welcome Swansea City to the Emirates Stadium.
