Report: Arsene Wenger furious with Daniel Agger over Jack Wilshere injury

Arsene Wenger is reportedly furious with Daniel Agger for his tackle on England midfielder Jack Wilshere during Wednesday's 1-0 win over Denmark.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly fuming with Daniel Agger for his tackle on England midfielder Jack Wilshere during Wednesday's 1-0 win over Denmark.

The 22-year-old is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks after suffering a hairline fracture in his left foot following a challenge by the Liverpool defender.

According to The Mirror, Agger is believed to have incurred the wrath of Wenger as Wilshere will miss a large segment of the Gunners' title run-in.

Consequently, the youngster's prospects of travelling with the Three Lions to the World Cup also hangs in the balance.

Wilshere has struck five times in all competitions for the North London outfit this season.
