Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba has hit back at claims that he pleaded with the club to let him join Arsenal.
Previous reports suggested that the Congolese player was forcing a move to the Emirates in order to satisfy his Champions League desire.
However, the 27-year-old has denied such claims and branded talking about other clubs as “disrespectful”.
Samba wrote on his Twitter page: "The declarations about me are totally false - never said that, I'm a Rovers player and will never mention other clubs - it's disrespectful. Not happy right now."
The defender has also been linked to a move to Gunners rivals Tottenham this summer.
