Theo Walcott says that he is determined for Arsenal to finish above Tottenham in the Premier League this season.

Theo Walcott has said that he is determined for Arsenal to finish above Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this season.

The Gunners are currently fifth in the league, ten points behind local rivals Spurs.

"I don't want to be in the first Arsenal team to finish below Spurs since I don't know when," Walcott said.

Spurs have not finished above Arsenal for 17 years, when Gerry Francis led Tottenham to seventh at the end of the 1994-95 campaign and Arsenal came in 12th.
