Theo Walcott's knee injury is not as bad as first feared, according to Arsenal.

Theo Walcott's knee injury is not as bad as first feared, and the winger could return to action this week for Arsenal.

The 22-year-old was taken off during the Gunners' 3-0 win against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday after pulling up while sprinting for the ball.

The club have confirmed that the injury is only "minor" and that the England international could return to face Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Arsenal's win against Bolton lifted them up to 12th place in the Premier League table.
