Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger refuses to outline his precise objective for this season and insists that their target is always winning games.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remained coy on his team's exact ambitions in the Premier League this season.

The Gunners climbed up to fifth in the table on Monday with a 5-2 victory over Reading away from home.

"I don't know," Wenger told reporters when asked how well Arsenal can do this season. "What I believe is our ambition is to finish as high as we can and win our next game.

"That's all we can do - that and focus on the quality of our football. The game is based on movement and technical quality and that demands freedom of initiative.

"When you're in a crisis, of course that suffers a little bit sometimes. We have to go beyond that and focus on the way we want to play football."

Arsenal are now two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
