Arsene Wenger pleased with Norwich City win

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger praises his side for their strong finish to the Premier League season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised his side for their strong finish to the Premier League season.

The Gunners claimed a 2-0 victory over Norwich City this afternoon to make it five wins in a row as they finished the season in fourth place.

"We wanted to finish the job well and not concede," he told the club's official website. "We have won 11 games away from home, I think it's the best in the Premier League and it was our 17th clean sheet - that is remarkable as well.

"We just wanted to finish the season well and we did it in a serious way so it's a good basis to prepare for the FA Cup final next Saturday."

Arsenal will look to end their nine-year trophy drought when they face Hull City in the FA Cup final next weekend.
