Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Andrey Arshavin will not be leaving Arsenal, despite reported interest from Russia.
The 30-year-old was believed to be in talks with Anzhi Makhachkala over a switch away from the Emirates.
Despite these reports, the Gunners boss has reiterated the comments from Arshavin's agent, who stated that the forward will remain in North London until the end of the season.
When asked in a press conference whether the Russia international was leaving, Wenger said: "For me, no."
Arshavin has been accused of not putting in enough effort for the Gunners, with many suggesting that the playmaker wants to leave the Premier League club.
