Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his team are capable of being crowned Premier League champions this season.
The Gunners started strongly in the 2013-14 campaign, but eventually fell away to claim fourth spot before ending their nine-year trophy drought to win the FA Cup at Wembley.
Tomorrow, the North London outfit, who have signed Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers this summer, will take on Crystal Palace at the Emirates in their season opener.
"I believe we have a chance because we were top for a long time, but we have to take more points from the top teams," Wenger said in this morning's press conference. "The favourites for the title are Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and us."
Arsenal will play Palace just two days after their manager Tony Pulis left his post following showdown talks with co-chairman Steve Parish.
