Jack Wilshere has revealed his admiration for the attitude displayed by Arsenal youngster Gedion Zelalem.
The 17-year-old has been used by Arsene Wenger on a regular basis throughout pre-season, and Wilshere believes that his teammate has the potential to become a key player for the club if he continues to impress in the way he has done in the early stages of his career.
"He always asks questions about what he should be doing," the England midfielder told the club's official website. "The main thing is his ability - that's the key thing with him.
"He's got so much ability and he can go where he wants. Maybe he needs to get a little bit stronger but his ability will take him through.
"Gedion's got so much natural ability and the right attitude towards the game. Naturally he's going to become stronger and he's training with great players."
Zelalem made his first-team debut in an FA Cup victory over Coventry City in January.
