Ibrahim Afellay's agent denies rumours linking his player with a move away from Barcelona.

The agent of Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay has insisted that his player is staying with the Catalan giants this summer.

Various reports have linked the Dutchman with moves away from the Nou Camp, with the most recent claiming that Inter Milan and Arsenal are interested, but his agent Rob Jansen has denied all speculation.

"People should not take all these rumours about an imminent transfer too serious," Voetbal International quotes Jansen as saying.

"Leaving Barcelona is not an option at this point. Ibrahim is feeling very well at Barca and is getting playing time.

"It's true that there's plenty of interest, but that's always been the case. There's absolutely no reason for him to leave the club."

Afellay signed for Barcelona in January 2011.
