Arsenal have reportedly been told that they will be unable to secure a loan deal for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.
Unai Emery is eager to bring in a new wide player before the end of the January transfer window, but it now appears unlikely that the Gunners will be successful.
According to The Mirror, Inter have ruled out the possibility of Perisic being allowed to make the switch to the Emirates Stadium on a straight loan deal.
The Italian giants would have allegedly been open to discussing a loan with the obligation to buy, but Arsenal do not want to commit any transfer funds ahead of the summer.
Arsenal are also said to have ended their pursuit for Dalian Yifang player Yannick Carrasco.
