Arsenal could reportedly face competition from AC Milan for the signature of Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca.
The 22-year-old Italy international has been an important player for the Neroverdi this season, scoring 13 goals in 30 Serie A appearances.
Scamacca is believed to be one of a number of players on Arsenal's radar, with Mikel Arteta set to recruit at least one new centre-forward in this summer's transfer window.
However, Calciomercato reports that Milan are set to rival the Gunners for Scamacca's signature and they have the finances to sign the £33m-rated forward.
Even though Liverpool's Divock Origi is seemingly edging closer to a move to San Siro, Milan are still on the lookout for more attacking reinforcements ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, as the long-term futures of veteran duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud remain uncertain.
Scamacca, who has also been linked with Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United, is under contract at the Mapri Stadium until June 2025.
