Arsenal have reportedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Lucas Vazquez, with the Spaniard unsettled at Real Madrid despite only signing a new contract in June.
The 30-year-old has made 16 appearances for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign but has only started nine times, with Dani Carvajal's return to fitness limiting his action at right-back.
According to El Nacional, Vazquez was promised regular football when he signed his new deal, and the Spaniard is unhappy with the amount of action that he is currently receiving at Bernabeu.
The report claims that Arsenal are keen to bring him to the Emirates Stadium and could make an offer when the January transfer window opens for business.
Vazquez, who is also said to be interesting Valencia, Sevilla, Roma and Napoli, was an unused substitute in Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The attacker has scored 27 goals and registered 54 assists in 256 appearances for Los Blancos since making his debut in 2015.
