Arsenal and Barcelona have reportedly failed to agree terms over the transfer of Denis Suarez.
The Gunners are known to hold an interest in the Spaniard and wish to secure a loan deal, but Barcelona would prefer to sell the player who has less than 18 months remaining on his contract.
According to Marca, Barcelona have offered Suarez fresh terms in an attempt to suit all parties but it is yet to be accepted by the 25-year-old.
The report suggests that Suarez is not happy with the contract offered to him, leading to Arsenal edging no closer to getting a deal over the line before the end of January.
Suarez remains out of favour at Camp Nou, and Barcelona have already moved to bring in Kevin-Prince Boateng as his replacement.
