Arsenal, Juventus want Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez?

Alexis Sanchez may spark a bidding war between Arsenal and Juventus this summer, according to reports.

Arsenal could make a move for Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez after the Catalan giants reportedly tipped off Arsene Wenger to the player's availability this summer.

The Chilean moved the Camp Nou from Udinese in 2011, but has been deemed surplus to requirements by the club and the Gunners could bid for the player, but face stern competition from Juventus, according to The People.

It is thought that the forward may spark a bidding war with an initial value of around £20m, although Sanchez is said to be interested in a move to the Premier League.

However, Juventus are said to be confident of securing his signature with two Chilean's already in their squad.

Sanchez has scored 18 goals in 32 La Liga games so far this season.
