Arsene Wenger is looking to bring Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin to Arsenal, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish radio station Cadena SER are reporting that Wenger wants to sign the Turkish international on a one year loan deal.
Sahin moved to the Bernabeu from Borussia Dortmund last season but he went on to make only one league appearance for the La Liga champions.
He has also been left out of Real Madrid's squad for their pre-season friendly with Benfica, and with Luka Modric reportedly set to join Madrid during the summer, Sahin's chances of first team football are likely to be further limited.
