Reported Arsenal target Julian Draxler has been linked with a switch to French champions Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window shuts.
The 22-year-old winger has reportedly told Wolfsburg that he wishes to depart the side this month amid rumours of the Gunners' interest, although the Bundesliga outfit have issued a statement insisting that he will not be allowed to leave.
According to the Sunday People, PSG have now made "a formal approach" for the services of the German, who is rated at more than £50m by Wolfsburg.
Draxler, who was part of the Germany squad that travelled to France for Euro 2016 this summer, still has four years remaining on his contract with the Wolves after joining from rivals Schalke 04 last summer.
In his debut season at the Volkswagen Arena, Draxler made 23 league appearances, scoring six times.
