Arsenal target Paulo Henrique Ganso

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reportedly makes Santos attacking midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso his number one transfer target, after admitting defeat in the race to sign Oscar.

Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move to sign Santos attacking midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso.

The 22-year-old Brazil international recently played down speculation linking him with a move away from Estadio Urbano Caldeira.

However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger remains hopeful of persuading Ganso to move to the Emirates Stadium and has made him his number one target after missing out on Chelsea-bound Internacional star Oscar, according to the Daily Mail.

Ganso has been capped eight times at senior international level.
