Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claims that Atletico Madrid have accepted Arsenal target Thomas Partey will be playing in the Premier League next term.

Atletico Madrid are "pushing Thomas Partey out of the door" amid interest from Arsenal, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

The Ghana international has held talks with the Gunners over a summer transfer, while Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keeping an eye on his situation.

Balague claims that Atleti have accepted that Partey will end up in the Premier League later this year, but Arsenal are likely to be reluctant to match his £45m valuation with their offer.

"Atletico Madrid are pushing Partey out of the door. They are saying that they believe that Thomas won't stay there next season," he said on his YouTube channel.

"They believe he will be in the Premier League and they've got indications that Arsenal will be the club that he joins.

"From the info I'm getting on the kind of money that is available at Arsenal, it's not a lot, I'd be very surprised if Arsenal pay €50m for him.

"I don't think they've got a lot of money. We'll see but this is because of expenditure from last year, this year and COVID-19."

Partey has spent the past five seasons in Atletico's first team, making 175 appearances for the Spanish side in all competitions.
