Arsenal are ready to return with an improved bid for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The Argentina international forward has been a target for the Gunners for the majority of the summer, but the London club have so far been unable to reach an agreement with Los Blancos.
Italian side Napoli also took an interest but have now walked away after being quoted £35m for the player, according to the Daily Mail.
The Serie A team believe that the player is not worth the fee that the Spanish giants are asking for, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will look to renew his interest in Higuain this week.
Chelsea have also recently been reported as showing an interest in the 25-year-old.
