Arsenal youngster Gedion Zelalem has extended his loan stint with Rangers until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old midfielder had been expected to leave the Scottish Championship leaders this month but will now be able to feature in the Gers' clash with title rivals Hibernian on Monday.
"Gedion is with us," said manager Mark Warburton. "We talked to [Arsenal] as part of an ongoing process. It's about us creating an environment here where clubs of that stature trust us with their players.
"That's important medically, nutritionally, training-wise, [in terms of] game-time, experience and that their players will go back to their clubs better individuals on and off the pitch."
The German joined the Gunners in 2013, stepping up to the senior squad a year later.
