Barcelona 'exploring possibility of re-signing Hector Bellerin'

Barcelona could attempt to re-sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly considering making an attempt to re-sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.

The Spaniard came through the youth system at Barca before leaving in 2011, signing his first professional contract with the Gunners the following year.

Bellerin has made over 200 appearances for his current side in all competitions, but there have been suggestions that he could be on the move during this summer's transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain have been strongly linked with the 25-year-old, who would reportedly be allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium for £35m in the coming weeks.

According to Sport, Barca are interested in bringing the Spain international back to Camp Nou amid claims that Nelson Semedo could depart before the end of the transfer window.

Semedo's exit would leave the Catalan giants short at right-back, but it remains to be seen whether they have the funds to spend a relatively large amount on Bellerin due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
