Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to battle Arsenal for the signature of Lille forward Jonathan David during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for his French club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 16 times in 35 appearances in all competitions, including three goals in the Champions League.
David still has more than three years left to run on his current deal, but Lille will find it difficult to keep hold of him this summer due to the growing interest in his services.
Arsenal continue to be strongly linked with the Canada international, as the Gunners prepare to bring at least one new forward to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
However, according to Fichajes, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also showing an interest in the attacker ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
David moved to Lille from Gent in August 2020 and has scored 29 times in 83 appearances for the Ligue 1 team in all competitions, in addition to contributing five assists.
Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest, but a recent report claimed that the forward wants to play Champions League football next season.
