Barcelona reportedly want any clubs interested in Philippe Coutinho to make a final decision by Wednesday.

Barcelona are reportedly pushing for a quick resolution to the uncertain future of Philippe Coutinho.

Despite the Brazilian playmaker making five starts and 11 substitute outings this season, Barcelona are still eager to part ways with the 29-year-old as soon as possible.

A transfer to the Premier League at some stage in 2022 looks likely with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Newcastle United and Leicester City all said to hold an interest.

However, according to The Mirror, the Catalan giants have no plans to wait for a scramble for his signature at the back end of the January transfer window.

The report claims that Barcelona want to know whether any of the teams mentioned are willing to commit to a £7.5m deal by Wednesday.

Arsenal would allegedly prefer a six-month loan deal with an obligation to buy for £5m, terms which will likely remain an option even if Barcelona favour other methods.
