Arsenal are reportedly considering the sale of goalkeeper Bernd Leno, following the arrival of Aaron Ramsdale this summer.
The German international lost his place in Mikel Arteta's starting lineup last weekend, with £30m signing Ramsdale handed his first Premier League start for the Gunners against Norwich City.
According to the Daily Mail, Leno's future at the Emirates Stadium is now in doubt and Arsenal may look to sell the German to generate funds for future signings.
The report states that a potential departure for the 29-year-old in January is unlikely, though he could be sold by the Gunners in the summer of 2022.
Arsenal signed Ramsdale with the expectation that he would become the club's number one goalkeeper by the end of the season, but it now looks like their plan has been implemented much sooner than expected.
Leno has made 120 appearances across all competitions for the North London club since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018, keeping 34 clean sheets.
