Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has urged Jose Mourinho's side to sign Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser on a free transfer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave the Vitality Stadium when his contract expires at the end of June, and both Spurs and Arsenal have been strongly linked with his services.
A recent report claimed that the Scotland international was 'on the brink' of signing a contract with a new club.
Bent has said that Fraser would provide solid competition for Lucas Moura on the right side of Mourinho's attack if he were to arrive this summer.
"You've got Son Heung-min on the left, Harry Kane through the middle and maybe Fraser on the right, battling with Lucas Moura. It would be a great signing and if you can get him on a free as well, wow, what a signing that would be," Bent told Football Insider.
"If I'm Spurs I'm going all out to get that type of player but don't make that your be all and end all. We saw Manchester United do that with Daniel James and yeah, he did very, very well but I'm sure United weren't expecting him to do as well as he did. If Spurs can get him in on a free, that's a very, very good start."
Fraser has only scored once in 28 Premier League appearances this season but did manage seven goals and 14 assists in England's top flight during the 2018-19 campaign.
