Alessandro Del Piero is linked with a surprise move to the Premier League and Arsenal.

Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero could make a surprise move to the Premier League with Arsenal.

The 37-year-old, who has been at the Stadio delle Alpi since 1993, is expected to leave Serie A in the summer.

The player's brother and agent Stefano Del Piero told Ilsussidiario.net: "There is no news at the moment but all the doors are open for a move away from Turin.

"I think that after 20 years with Juventus and having given his availability to the club to sign a new deal since last February, it is now very difficult to remain in Italy.

"We are not close to anything, but I think it will be hard to remain in Serie A."

The Gunners and Paris Saint-Germain are the leading candidates for Del Piero's signature, according to Sky Sports News.

The Italy legend has scored 27 goals in 91 internationals.
