Everton have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Barcelona outcast Arda Turan this month.
The 30-year-old winger is expected to depart Camp Nou this month after a first half of the season in which he has failed to play a single minute of competitive action for the club.
Arsenal have been linked with his signature in recent months but have yet to follow up their interest with an official bid, while the likes of Besiktas and Galatasaray have also been mooted as potential destinations.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Turkish star's agent Ahmed Bulut has contacted both the Toffees and Italian giants AC Milan in an attempt to get them to make offers to Barcelona, but the alleged financials involved are said to be putting off both parties.
Turan currently earns £120,000 a week at Barca and is reluctant to take a pay cut, although some stories have suggested that a transfer fee might be waived as the La Liga side look to get the player off the wage bill.
A straight swap deal with Gunners playmaker Mesut Ozil has also been raised as a possibility over the last month.
