Leeds United are reportedly contemplating potential replacements for Eddie Nketiah as they fear that Arsenal will recall the youngster in January.

Leeds United are reportedly fearful that Arsenal will recall Eddie Nketiah during the January transfer window.

While the Gunners have allowed the England Under-21 international to spend the season on loan at Elland Road, they have been left disappointed by the youngster's game time since August.

The 20-year-old has been limited to 265 minutes of football in the Championship, with each of his 10 appearances coming from the substitutes' bench.

With Arsenal having previously suggested that they are prepared to consider other clubs for Nketiah, The Mirror claims that Leeds have begun to look at alternative options.

Nketiah has missed the last month due to injury, something which may play into Leeds' favour as they look to give the player more experience during December and January.

Leeds currently sit in second position in the Championship standings.
