Liverpool and Arsenal have locked horns over the signing of PSV Eindhoven attacker Hirving Lozano, according to a report.
The 22-year-old, who has become a regular for Mexico's national side, scored nine goals in his first eight games for the Dutch giants and has reportedly been watched by a number of clubs.
Lozano has scored 11 goals in 16 Eredivisie appearances this season and, according to the Daily Star, has been lined up as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho.
The report claims that Arsene Wenger is eager to recruit Lozano due to the likelihood of Alexis Sanchez departing the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
Lozano enjoyed three productive years at Pachuca, his first professional club, and has scored seven times in 24 appearances for his country.
