Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has said that his side showed a "great reaction" to come back to lead 3-2 against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.
Liverpool led 2-0 after Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah struck past Petr Cech, but three Arsenal goals had the Gunners 3-2 up before the hour mark.
Arsene Wenger's men eventually had to settle for a point after Roberto Firmino salvaged a late equaliser, but Spaniard Bellerin was impressed with his side's character.
"We didn't start well, they got in front but [at half time] the boss put us in our place," he told Sky Sports News. "He told us what we had to do and the team got a great reaction.
"We scored three quick goals and you could see the belief in the team. But we needed to defend better to keep the score. We couldn't do it so it's a bit bittersweet, with being in front but then drawing the game.
"There was a great talk at half-time, there was a lot of belief from the boss and we knew we had it in ourselves. We showed we could turn it around but then we made a mistake at a corner and paid for it."
Arsenal, who are fifth in the Premier League table, play Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion before the New Year.
