AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar has reportedly emerged as a possible transfer target for Liverpool.
Lemar has been linked with a switch to Arsenal since the end of last season, and last week it was claimed that the Gunners were closing in on the French international for a fee in the region of £45m.
However, according to Le10Sport, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to make an approach to try to tempt the 21-year-old into a move to Anfield.
In recent weeks, the German manager has focused his attention on trying to strengthen his squad with a new centre-back and central midfielder, but it appears that another attacking addition is also a priority.
During his two seasons at Stade Louis II, Lemar has netted 19 times in 81 appearances in all competitions, and his form helped Monaco win the Ligue 1 title ahead of Paris Saint-Germain during the most recent campaign.
As it stands, Monaco are attempting to avoid losing more of their first-team stars after also reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
