Schalke 04 midfielder Max Meyer will make a decision on his future in the next couple of weeks.
The 22-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the current season, and he was linked with a move to Arsenal in the latter stages of the January transfer window.
Schalke CEO Christian Heidel has revealed that Meyer "will be deciding shortly" whether to sign a new deal with his current club.
"Max will be deciding shortly if he wants to stay at Schalke past the summer," Heidel told reporters.
"Max is very happy here, Schalke is his home, we will try to make it him as comfortable financially as possible. He is playing the best season of his life, and the coach has found a position for him that Max didn't believe he could play."
Meyer has scored once in 21 appearances for Schalke during the 2017-18 campaign.
