Antonio Sanabria one step closer to Arsenal move?

Antonio Sanabria could soon be an Arsenal player, a report claims.

Antonio Sanabria is on the verge of signing for Arsenal after he told Barcelona that he wanted to leave the club, according to a report.

The striker, 17, who currently plays in the Barcelona B team, has previously been linked with a move to the Gunners, as well as Italian giants Roma.

However, a report in The Mirror quotes Sanabria's agent, Raul Verdu, as saying that the striker is in talks with the Premier League leaders and will look to complete a move soon.

"Our contacts with Arsenal are advanced and I expect a solution in the next week," Verdu said.

The newspaper goes on to add that Sanabria will meet with the club sometime in the next week to finalise the deal.
