Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules signs for League One side Ipswich Town on a season-long loan deal.

Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules is set for another loan spell away from the club at Ipswich Town.

The 21-year-old is yet to earn his first-team breakthrough under Mikel Arteta and will spend the entirety of the 2022-23 season at Portman Road.

John-Jules secured temporary moves to both Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday last term but failed to score for either club in 13 total appearances, although he did provide two assists for the former in an EFL Cup defeat to Sunderland.

John-Jules is yet to make his first-team debut for Arsenal despite taking part in senior training sessions for a number of years, but he has made the bench in the Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup.

The England Under-21 international has won two caps for the Young Lions - the most recent of which came in October - and he has spent the last 13 years at Arsenal since joining from Charlton Athletic's academy in 2009.

Lincoln City and Doncaster Rovers previously provided the youngster with League One experience in loan deals, and he registered five goals and three assists in 18 third-tier matches for the latter in the 2020-21 season.
