Contract talks between Theo Walcott and Arsenal have reportedly hit a wall as the winger looks for assurances from manager Arsene Wenger.
The 23-year-old is believed to have been offered a four-year deal worth £80,000 a week, but the England international is thought to be holding out for a £100,000-a-week package and discussions with Wenger ensuring that he is part of the Frenchman's plans, according to Goal.com.
Reports have claimed that Walcott is happy to remain with the Gunners and has made no indications that he wishes to leave the Emirates, despite putting talks on hold since December.
It is understood that the winger is waiting to sit down with Wenger in order to discuss the manager's future plans for the team.
Walcott comes to the end of his current deal next summer.
