Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the club are trying to commit Theo Walcott to a new contract.
The 23-year-old winger has one year left on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium.
"We are still trying to extend his deal," Wenger told The Sun.
"When a player doesn't want to stay, you either force him or you let him go."
Walcott joined the Gunners from Southampton in 2006 for around £9m.
