Aston Villa defender John Terry is reportedly considering extending his contract with the West Midlands club for another year.
Former Chelsea centre-back Terry, who signed for Villa on a one-year deal last summer, has a mutual option with the club to trigger a 12-month extension to his contract.
The report in The Telegraph adds that Villa's push for promotion to the Premier League this season is leaving the 37-year-old with doubts about moving on from the team.
The newspaper says that Terry could also be swung by the prospect of retirement or the attraction of lucrative deals elsewhere, with the club reluctant to put any pressure on the ex-England international.
Terry, who missed a significant period of the season with a broken metatarsal, has helped his side to five successive Championship victories since returning.
